Recipe: Homemade High-Protein Crunchy Lentil Crackers You’ll Keep Reaching For

Ingredients

Dry:

  • ¾ cup Lentil Telepathy’s Crunchy Toasted Cheddah Lentil Snacks
  • ¼ cup whole flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp psyllium husk
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Wet:

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Equipment:

  • 10 x 15-inch baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Oven

Directions

  1. Mix the base – In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  2. Activate the seeds – Stir in the water and Worcestershire sauce. Let sit 20 minutes until it thickens into a gel-like mixture.
  3. Prep the oven – Preheat to 300°F.
  4. Spread & shape – Line baking sheet with parchment, spread the mixture evenly, smoothing edges so the layer is consistent.
  5. First bake – Bake for 60 minutes. Remove, cool slightly, then gently peel off parchment.
  6. Cut & finish – Slice into 12 crackers, return to sheet, and bake for another 20 minutes until golden crisp. For extra crunch, turn oven off and leave crackers inside with door cracked open for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Cool & enjoy – Let cool fully on a rack. Store in an airtight container to keep them perfectly crunchy for days.
